I was born in Lebanon, the oldest of five children, and grew up there till I was 20 years old. At that point, my family decided to immigrate to the USA to seek a better future, and we settled in Dearborn, Michigan in 2009. A couple of years later, I graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan while working full time to support my family.

After graduation, I joined the powertrain division at Chrysler, where I worked on calibrating the Fiat 1.4L Turbo engine - the first Fiat engine to be mass marketed in the Americas. Having arrived at the USA around the time of the Global Financial Crisis, I started learning about financial derivatives and became very interested in structured finance. This newfound interest drove me to move to New York City, and pursue a Master’s degree in Computational Finance at Carnegie Mellon University.

Immediately after graduation, I joined BNP Paribas in their structured credit division. I worked on various products within credit, and my experience spanned structuring CLOs, trading credit correlation, pricing exotic credit derivatives, and structured lending. After 7 years at BNPP, I parlayed this experience over to Citadel where I joined the credit portfolio finance team that is responsible for financing the firm’s credit assets.

I currently reside in Greenwich, CT with my wife and two kids, and spend quite a bit of time in Dearborn, MI - our second hometown.

I have been blessed throughout my life journey and I remain grateful for everything that I have accomplished thus far. As a result, I hope to keep giving back to my community, whether it be through mentoring others or investing in a better future for our planet.
